Great overview of how AI can be used for fraud detection and compliance.

Videos had too little and too general content. Use of the term GenAI was often misplaced as it meant supervised learning!

Nothing practical, really. Everything is very superficial and exists in many other resources. I was expecting some deep genAI analysis with OpenAI GPT-4 equipped with RAG and LangGraph to capture fraud from some real-world non-compliance and fraud examples.

The transcripts of the videos are not edited, and contain many errors in understanding the instructor's speech. I used the transcript to copy and past prompts into ChatGPT. But it would have been much better if the example prompts (and synthetic data sets) were included in "reading" sections between videos. Would be much more useful for practice and give the course more value. The final project was poorly integrated - it suggests using applications outside the scope of the course. Would be better to have more hands-on practice in specific prompts throughout the course. The course does pack in a lot of information and goes by at an intense pace. The periodic questions are useful to keep you on top of it. Instructor is very competent. Recommended.

This course only skims over the most basic principles of AI and GenIA. No concrete or really actionable insight regarding Detection/Compliance domain. The videos only shows basic use of ChatGPT, with no warning about hallucinations or check of numeric results, in spite it is something Chat GPT can easily fail. The implementation of a detection feature uses AI only to generate a rule-based model : AI is use for code writing, not detection. The peer reviewed project require much more knowledge (python, machine learning with tensorflow or similar ...), and all the projects pending for review seem to have been "shortcut" : the deliverable only consist of a word document with the project requirement, one even only provide a Xmas picture ! I checked a dozen of them, and gave up. It was my first course from Coursera Instructor Network, not sure if I'll take a second one.
